Bring the family, maybe share the rent with another family, and experience a real farm holiday in beautiful surroundings and magnificent nature by the Sognefjord in the west.

Alværn farm is beautifully situated by the Sognefjord only 3 km. from Lavik which is a small town. The farm has its own long shoreline, views of the Sognefjord, swimming area and large play areas. At the seafront is a boathouse where you can grill or have fun with family and friends. Here are long tables with space for many people and large glass doors that allow the sea view to be enjoyed.

The main house has 5 bedrooms, with a total of 11 beds, in addition to a loft space. There are two bathrooms, a laundry room and a spacious kitchen, living room and a glazed veranda.

There are duvets and pillows for the beds. Bed linen, sheets and towels can be brought or rented (we rent hotel bed linen). If you are going to rent bed linen, we need to know this in advance. There is both a cot and achair for toddlers in the house.

Only 40 minutes from the garden is Høyanger water park. In Lavik you will find a hotel and restaurant, grocery store, Lavik kro - which also offers catering, clothes shop, hairdresser, petrol station, electric car charging stations and ferry connection to Bergen, in addition to the fast ferry that runs between Bergen and Flåm. We highly recommend a trip with Hurtigbåten; Lavik - Bergen - Lavik, or Lavik into the Sognefjord to Balestrand and Flåm. A day trip offers great experiences at sea. Alværn gard has 4 separate rental units. Most of the outdoor areas are shared and can be used by all guests.
